At present the Rural Study Centre functions in a thatched roofed structure with our walls and with mud flooring.The total area is 700 sq.ft. enough space for the children to study.

But as the walls are constructed only with coconut leaves, insects and snakes enter through these leaves and it is not safe for children in the evening and night hours.

Hence we need support to construct a brick wall, cement flooring with proper door and windows.

We need help to meet the educational needs of the children of the leprosy patients. The children need to be given books, notebooks, uniforms, study materials and paid school fees.

They are willing and eager to study and develop. Are you willing to support?

If yes,we need assistance in the following areas to help these children in whom we have created a vision.

Sponsor the construction brick wall & cement flooring		Rs.1,48,000/-
Sponsor support for 2 teacher salary/month		Rs.5,000/-
Sponsor refreshment for 50 children/month		Rs.7,500/-

We need immediate support by means of funds or materials to upgrade the Low Cost Rural Study Centre at Nathammedu village,Vengambakkam(Post),Kancheepuram District where Dhaya Seva Sangam has initiated services for these poor children.

At present we have 52 leprosy patients who are married and have children and 51 leprosy patients who are bachelors under our care. They live in houses provided by NGOs and Churches. But they struggle for their livelihood.

These leprosy patients maintain themselves by begging in groups which is not human and their children do not have a positive approach towards life due to this.

Dhaya Seva Sangam presently runs a rehabilitation programme by providing monthly provision (groceries) for food.

We will be grateful if you can help to support this programme and help in educating these children of leprosy patients who undergo multiple discrimination and sufferings.
